A wet but wonderful wedding at the amazing Peppers Manor House

In our last post showing the sneak peek from the day I mentioned how easy Kim and Dave made my day. As you can see from some of these images it was more then a little wet but a little rain wasn’t going to stop everyone having a lot of fun. So thanks again to everyone involved. As always we would love to hear what you think, so feel free to leave a comment below or drop us an email. Hope you love!
Wedding Photography at Peppers Manor House in Sutton Forest…a sneak peek
I love my job!…….
On my drive home from Saturday’s wedding with Kim and Dave I was thinking about how lucky I am to be able to do something I truly love for a living and it made me start to think what it is about my job that I love. While there are a number of things that come to mind, the number one perk are the couples I get to work with. I don’t know if its just luck or we just attract cool couples, but it seems like every couple we get to plan a wedding with and work with on the day are always fun and easy going. This could not be more true then with Kim and Dave.
They held their wedding at an amazing venue of Peppers Manor House in Sutton Forest. This is around a 3 hour drive south of the Coast, and, to make life easier, I was able to stay at the venue (courtesy of the lovely Kim and Dave) the night before their wedding. This took the pressure off an early morning start and possible traffic delays if I had of traveled the morning of.
Most couples hope for perfect weather on their big day, but its something which is completely out of anyone’s control. On Saturday we had continuous rain. While the venue is pretty amazing and there are numerous options for wet weather photos, both Kim and Dave were more then happy to put up with a bit of rain to “get the shot”. A special thanks has to go to Kim for not only putting up with some rain but going along my my ideas which had them both packed up in my car while we headed off road. They walked up muddy trails (in heels!) and putting up with me for over an hour with not a care in the world. I couldn’t wipe the smile off their face. In the end I think everyone had a great time (myself included) and I was able to capture some beautiful images for Kim and Dave.
So to Kim, Dave, their bridal party and all the guests, thanks for making my job easy rain, mud or wind! And to all our couple over the years past and for those coming up in the future, thanks for trusting us on your big day and I can’t wait to head out again for our next wedding.
Kim and Dave here is just one image from “Muddy Hill”. I have many more to show you soon!

Wow! What a wedding. It was so awesome to get to know Amanda in the lead up to her big day, and the day did not disappoint! What a gorgeous wedding with gorgeous people with a gorgeous backdrop to boot. Justin & I could not have asked for anything more than the grounds of Athol Gardens to shoot in, and a Bridal Party that was just stunning. It was a terrific day with terrific people, and hopefully you think that we captured some really terrific photos too! If you are a family member or friend, the online gallery is live.
