A Windy Pre-Wedding Shoot at Terrigal

Another busy weekend this weekend! A wedding on Friday and Saturday and then Amanda & Adam's Pre-Wedding Shoot on Sunday. But.... that's how we like it! These guys were fantastic! They couldn't stop laughing through the entire shoot and were so happy and friendly that we know their wedding day next year in February is going to be a fun day to shoot! Despite the cool and windy conditions we managed to get some fantastic shots that really shows off their personalities. Thanks guys for being so relaxed and bubbly!

A Garden Wedding for Jodie & James Sheraton on the 22nd November 2008

Wow - what a wedding! All week the weather report had predicted lots of rain, but we were lucky that this wasn't the case! We battled with the wind during the photo shoot, but Jodie & James were so fantastic to work with as was the rest of the bridal party. I seem to keep getting the most relaxed, easy going couples to shoot each wedding and I'm really thankful for this. Even after nearly losing her veil today off the jetty in near gale force winds, Jodie just kept on smiling and we were able to get some amazing shots regardless of the wind. Thanks so much to you all for being so easy to work with! The wind did settle down in the evening and we were able to get some amazing sunset shots (one of which I've posted here). I also got some great shots in the morning - Hannah was a little cutie and I was amazed at how well she followed directions (our son Matt is nearly 2 and he wouldn't have done half of what she did and he gets photos taken of him all the time!). I think Hannah's parents must be pretty lucky! Be sure to check back in a couple of weeks to log in to the rest of James & Jodie's photos - we hope you love them!

The Wedding of Mick & Amy Magurren on the 21st November 2008

What a great day! We got some great shots this day in a few different locations. I'm really looking forward to planning their album for them! The first shot I've put here is at Mount Ettalong and there was another shot that I tossed up putting in or not.... the boys in the bridal party will know which one I'm talking about! I decided to play it safe, but when you see Amy & Mick or any of the bridal party you'll have to ask them what I mean!!! :) Thanks to everyone for being so easy going and making my job so easy! Looking forward to catching up after your honeymoon in Bali so you can see your photos and album.

A beautiful wedding at Linton Gardens

Sarah and Sam got married on the 27th September in the grounds of Linton Gardens. 70 of their family and friends celebrated with them here also for their reception. They used the grounds of Linton Gardens for some photos (which always look great) and then headed to the Woy Woy foreshore for some more shots by the water.

Wedding Photography Central Coast, Hunter Valley, Newcastle & Sydney

We often get asked about which areas we will go to to take wedding photos. The answer is..... basically anywhere. This year alone we have photographed weddings in the Central Coast, Hunter Valley, Newcastle, all over Sydney, Forster, Country NSW and even Bali! We love being able to take wedding photos in different areas as we get to see some beautiful countryside and architecture! Next year we even have a wedding to photogaph in Agnes Waters, which is at the top of Queensland for those who don't know where it is. So, if you have friends or family that aren't getting married nearby, still give them our details and we may see you there!

Here's three of our shots from our holiday. Matt loved the pool and so did Justin! I couldn't keep them out of it. We also had a trip to the monkey sanctuary which was amazing.... as you can see I only have a few weeks to go before we have our next bub so make sure you check back in January to see our new addition!

Dimity & Dale Spencer's Wedding

We had a great time at Dimity & Dale's wedding on the 11th October and actually got a holiday in Bali for a week too! It was an absolutely spectacular day and the most amazing sunset (and it sets so quickly there over the water)! Have uploaded 2 picture's from their wedding. Dale loved the shot on the road with the tattoo sign in the background! And the second shot is in the foyer of the motel... Bali Niksoma - it was a great place to stay if you're ever heading over that way!! I'll also include a few of our shots of our holiday snaps in the following post.

Luke & Melanie Hiscock’s Wedding

Luke & Mel got married on the 15th November at St Mary's Church in Gosford. The weather was a bit rainy in the morning, but by lunchtime it had stopped raining and the day ahead was perfect. We always have the umbrella's ready just in case though! It was great to see so many past couple's that we'd photographed at the wedding as it means that people have liked what we've done in the past and recommended us! Mel looked absolutely radiant as a bride and we got some great shots in the morning as well as throughout the day. We went to Long Jetty for some photos after the church and then to Tuggerah Lakes Golf Course for their reception. A perfect day for the couple!

Amy & Steve's Pre-Wedding Shoot

We took some photo's for Amy & Steve today as their wedding is coming up on the 6th December this year. They're getting married at The Haven so we went to various places around here to show them some of the spots. Hope you like!

Kailah & Craig’s Shelton’s Wedding

Kailah & Craig got married on the 8th November at the Terrigal Uniting Church. The day had been forecast for heavy rain, but on the day it was perfect weather! The couple had hired a London Cab for their wedding cars, which looked great in photos! We took some other great shots in a private driveway in Erina Valley and then went to the Entrance Leagues Club for their reception. There were some humorous speeches from some of the bridal party too....

Nicola & Peter Betts’ Wedding

Nicola & Peter got married on the 1st November in the grounds of Magenta Shores and they held their reception there also in the Slice Bar. The weather was a bit touch and go on the day, but in the end it only slightly rained when we were getting a few family photo's after the ceremony. We even went into a car park for a few shots for an urban feel - have posted one of these pic's here also.

Jackie Brown's Family Photographs for her Nan

It's been a busy weekend! Friday and Saturday saw us shooting weddings, and a portrait shoot for Jackie and her family on Sunday at Terrigal. They were great to work with though as they were all so relaxed in front of the camera! We took lots of different shots of each couple and then a few groups ones as well. Have put two shots here of the whole group.

Kate & Gerard Pasfield's Wedding

Kate & Gerard got married on the beach at Magenta Shores on the 25th October. It was great to see a past couple in their bridal party... Katherine & Scott (they'd recommended us which is fantastic!) Kate & Gerard had hired a hummer and they and their party had a fantastic time as they had a drive in it. We then got some shots on the golf course at Magenta and their reception was there also. The staff there are so friendly and it looks absolutely amazing when it's all done up! As you can see by the last pic I've posted the boys in the bridal party weren't impartial to a little dancing........ boogie on down! :)

Jody & Ian Fairey's Wedding

Jody & Ian got married on the 24th October at Linton Gardens. It was a beautiful day and we got some great shots around the grounds and in an area close by. They had Sue & Col Taylor of Traditional Jaguars drive their wedding cars, and these guys always give fantastic service (as well as the cars looking amazing!)

Claire & Scott Williams Wedding

Claire & Scott got married at St Mary's Church on the 18th October, and for the first time ever, we met their "best friend" who was their ring bearer! It was very neat to see their well behaved dog walking up the aisle during their ceremony! We then went to Pine Needles for some great shots and loved it as we hadn't ever photographed there before. Hope you like the pic's!

Cara & Luke Portese's Wedding

Cara & Luke got married at the Blue Lagoon Reserve at Shelley Beach on the 3rd October. It was a little drissly in the morning but cleared at the ceremony to make a fantastic day! Their reception was at The Trojans Rugby Club in Terrigal so we captured some amazing shots around Terrigal before the reception started. The sunset shot below is actually on our brand new business cards as we loved it so much!

We had a busy day today.... 3 pre-wedding shoots in one day. We've uploaded one image from each - 2 were at Long Jetty and 1 was at Toowoon Bay. Looking forward to their weddings in a few weeks. (In order they are Kate & Gerard, Cara & Luke and Nicola & Peter)

Kylie & Adam Gough's Wedding

Kylie & Adam got married at the All Saints Anglican Church at The Entrance on the 20th September and went to Long Jetty to capture some of the great wedding photos that we've shown here! They then went to Tuggerah Lakes Golf Course for their reception which was gorgeous as the sun set. They honeymooned in Bali and when they came back to view their album they were able to give us some great tips for our trip over there (shooting a wedding for Dimity & Dale in October) which was great!

Larissa & Shane Caruana's Wedding

Larissa and Shane got married at St Cecilia's Church in Wyong on the 13th September. 150 guests celebrated with them at their ceremony and then their reception at Magenta Shores. We got some amazing photos and have used their album as a demonstration album as we thought it turned out so well. Jerry Ghionis Workshop in Melbourne

During August I had the pleasure of learning from Jerry Ghionis - one of the best wedding photographers in the world. (You can visit his site at www.jerryghionis.com ) I spent a week with Jerry and 19 other photographers from around the world at his workshop in Melbourne and picked up some awesome tips that I'll be using in upcoming weddings to get some amazing photos.
