On Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting Carmen and Matt's wedding. These guys were great!!! Matt who is an avid photographer himself with some great work of his own was calm and cool all day and Carmen has such an easy going and fun way about her! Couples like this make my job so easy. I caught up with a previous couple Josh and Brooke who we shot their wedding almost 2 years ago and they now have a little boy with another on the way, its always great to catch up with couple down the track and to see a little family growing is very cool too. I think we got some pretty amazing shots on Saturday and cant wait to get into the album design to show off my work to Carmen and Matt when they return from their honeymoon. Here are just a few shots to wet your appetite...
Around a month ago we decided to sell our little hatch for something a little different. Well im happy to say after selling our car and looking all over for our new car I finally found the one for us. Its a 65 Mustang fastback. I drove it home from Coffs earlier in the week and used it to get around yesterday for Matt and Carmen's wedding (stay tuned for some pics of their day coming up real soon). So far it hasn't missed a beat and its just a cool car to drive. After ordering some "VIBE" plates and thinking about something small on the back window to advertise ourselves it should also help with our profile on the Central Coast and abroad. So I just took some pics tonight on the way to the local servo (they will probably get to know me well there from now on) and thought I would upload a couple to our blog.
We photographed Ben & Victoria's wedding approximately a year ago and run in to Ben a little bit as he is a Manager at Erina Leagues Club where we have lunch every now and again. A few days ago we got an email from him asking us to take some head shots of some staff and also some location shots around the Club for them so that they can update some photographs. I've uploaded one or two here and also a photograph from their actual wedding day, which was a beautiful one at Linton Gardens. If you are ever wanting a nice meal out they do great steaks and even have a play area for the kids.... Our son Matt just loves it there!
Fiona called us a little over a week ago as she had been at Kristie & Sam's wedding in December and had absolutely loved the photographs that we took there so she decided that she would get some family photographs done from us also! Fiona's parents were out from South Africa and we were able to capture some fantastic shots of them with their grand children on the beach. Of course, we also got some great photo's of everyone else there, but hands down I think the kids were having the most fun of all running and jumping in the water and getting doted on by everyone while they did it. Here are a few of the shots that we took and loved but there were just so many to choose from that were great on the day! If you are ever thinking of getting some family photo's done make sure you give us a call!!
Wow! What a day! When you first meet a couple you get an idea of what they will be like and I had no doubt in my mind from the very beginning that Mel & Pete would be a fabulous couple to photograph! They pretty much epitomise the word "fun" as that's what they were and that's what they had on their day!! It was so great to be able to spend the day with them and their bridal party, family & friends, and to be able to get some fantastic shots for them. They wanted something a little different from everyone else with quite natural and fun photos so that's what I gave them. We went to a number of locations for their photos, and when we got to the golf club they had a great time jumping up on the golf buggies and driving them around so I had to add that shot here of that! And... what a dance. Have put two of a great number of dancing shots here to show off their skills, but be prepared to see lots more when the rest of their photos go on line!! Enjoy :)
On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Kathy & Daniel's wedding. It was a gorgeous day and we started the day off with some shots of the guys at the Terrigal Pub... this got them relaxed as they could have most of their shots done with a beer in their hand! We were able to capture some great shots of Kathy & the girls just around the corner from the guys where they were getting ready. Terrigal is a great location for photos and we headed there for a few shots before going to Kantara House for a few more photos and then the reception. It was a great day and the bridal party (and bride & groom of course) were great to work with. Hope you like the photos!!
