Last night we met with Danielle and Stephen, who are getting married in March next year, to talk about their big day. They booked with Justin last night and have just dropped off the deposit so they're now in the draw to win the $1200 promotion. I dare say that they will be the last couple in the draw as it ends tonight! Their wedding should be beautiful as they're getting married at St Mary's Heritage Church and having their reception at The Reef Restaurant at Terrigal. We're really looking forward to your big day guys.... thanks for booking with us!!!
You may remember that I commented on a couple that came and spoke with Justin about their wedding photography last week who were very appreciative of Justin's pleasant un-pressuring (is that a word...?)nature. Well, we're very happy to say that a few days ago they called to confirm that they would like Justin to photograph their special day (sorry it's taken me a while to post... we had family from all over Australia with us all weekend as we had our daughter Bella christened so I haven't had a chance to update the BLOG). Jennifer & Grant are getting married in October next year at St Mary's Heritage Church in Gosford. Father Rod is just so lovely and we love photographing there so we're very excited. Their reception is at the Sea Salt Restaurant in Crowne Plaza Terrigal which is just breathtaking also. Needless to say, Justin will take some A-M-A-Z-I-N-G wedding photographs for them with these locations!!! Tomorrow is the draw so check back to see who wins.
This morning we had a call from two couples that Justin met with about a week ago to confirm that they would like him to photograph their wedding. After Justin meets with a couple he gives them an option of tentatively booking the date for 7 days so that they can go away and have a think about things and also meet with other photographers before making their decision. We're confident that, even after seeing other people, that Justin's work and friendly nature will have made a lasting impression and that couple's will book us! And, that's what has been the case here. We often get people that do book with Justin on the spot but we also like to give people the option of a week to think about things and not be too pushy. In fact, we met with Jennifer and Grant on Tuesday night and Grant actually commented on his way out that it was nice to not feel pressured to make a decision right then and there. Nice to hear, as you definitely don't want to feel pressured into booking something as important as your wedding photographs! They're going to be the images that invoke memories of your day for your lifetime so you want them to be amazing and to have only good memories surrounding them! So, back to the couples that have booked us... thanks to both Pamela & Michael, who will be married in mid January next year, and also to Michelle & Grant who will be married late February next year. We're really looking forward to your day and thank you for trusting us to capture your day for you!!! For those who are looking for a photographer, we are running the $1200 promotion until the 30th June so there is a few days left to be in the running for this. And every couple that does book us before this date also gets $300 worth of goods so that's another incentive. If you are interested give us a call to make a time to come in and have a chat to us. Thanks!! :)
On Saturday Justin was lucky enough to shoot Kaylene & Kane's wedding at Peppers Creek Chapel and then the Barrel Room for their wedding reception. We were a little unsure if the weather would hold out for them as it had been raining all week, but Saturday proved to be a great day as it was overcast but there was no rain in the Hunter Valley! I rang Justin at around lunchtime on Saturday just to check how things were going as it was raining on the Central Coast, but he was all smiles as the weather was perfect where he was which was fantastic! Kaylene & Kane must have had the big guy looking down on them and helping to make their day perfect! :) Justin started his day off by going to Kane and his groomsmen and admits that Kane was a little nervous in the morning... but throughout the day he got more and more relaxed (and happy because he married his dream girl) and seemed to really enjoy his day. Kaylene was all smiles from the start so if she was nervous she was hiding it well! Kaylene & Kane got married in the Chapel at Peppers Creek and they didn't even have to leave the grounds to get some amazing wedding photographs after their ceremony. There's so many different areas to shoot from at Peppers that it's a photographers delight! Justin captured some great shots and we have posted just a few here to wet everyone's appetites. The rest of Kaylene & Kane's photographs should be up by the end of the week for their family & friends who have the password so make sure you check the rest of their wedding photographs out then. We hope that you like them! The band playing at the reception that night was Acoustic Moose and they were just great! It's the second time that Justin has worked with them at a wedding so if you are getting married in the Hunter region they're definitely worth a look!
On Sunday Justin and I were both at the Getting Hitched Bridal Fair at Mingara.... soooo many engaged couples came through and it was great to chat with those who stopped by our stand. We spoke with just over 70 couples (we handed out bags to each couple so this is how we know this figure)... it was hectic though so please feel free to call us to sit in a more relaxed space with Justin to talk about your big day! And for those that couldn't talk to us due to the crowds we'd love to chat with you too!! We've uploaded a picture of our new mini stand which we hope made a great impression on people in our little corner of the hall. And, lucky for us, we were opposite The Cowrie Catering who were handing out some great treats to everyone - including us!!! We thought we should upload a picture of them too to say thanks... it was scrumptious!!! No wonder they have such a great reputation. Anyways, hope to hear from all the Bride & Groom's out there soon and check back in a day or two to see a few images from Saturday's wedding at Peppers Creek in the Hunter Valley - they're looking amazing!
Jessica & Andrew are now our 9th booking in the $1200 promotion. Yay! They're getting married at Rafferty's Resort in Lake Macquarie in February next year which should be beautiful. We're really looking forward to your day guys!
Well, first and foremost, KAYLENE & KANE ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!!! Justin will be heading to Peppers Creek Chapel & Barrel Room in the Hunter Valley for their wedding on Saturday which will be just beautiful!! So, keep an eye out in a few days for some of their weddings photos on the BLOG. :) Then on Sunday both Justin and myself will be at the "Getting Hitched Bridal Expo" at Mingara from 10am - 3pm so if you want to talk with a HUGE amount of exhibitors (they say about 100 will be there) it will be the place to be on Sunday. And of course, we'd love to see you so come and say hi and have a look at some of our work. Hope you have a great weekend!!!!!
Justin met with Greg & Stephanie about a week ago and we heard back from them today saying that they'd love Justin to photograph their big day... thanks guys! Their wedding is in the gorgeous Hunter Valley Gardens which we're very excited about. This confirmation makes them our 8th booking in the promotion that we are currently running.... that means there's an excellent chance of being the winning couple so if you are planning your big day come and have a chat with us! You never know - you may be the lucky one! :)
Yesterday we met with Kristy & Michael who are getting married at Linton Gardens in November next year. They loved Justin's work so much that they booked us then and there.... thanks guys! I know that Justin will take amazing wedding photographs for you both and we are honoured that you chose us for your special day! Are you getting married...? Have you come to speak with Justin at VIBE Photography yet....? Remember - you have to be in it to win it! So, if you were thinking of coming to see him about your big day there's no better time than now! Good luck with all of your wedding plans!!! Carla :)
We've just replaced the Digital and Destiny Album Slideshows that we have on our website so, if you're interested, go in and check them out! Just go to the "View our Portfolio of Images" tab and then click on "Sample Wedding Albums" and choose which one you want to view. It does need to load so you may have to wait a few moments so please be patient as it's worth it... :) The Digital Album is now from Gary & Bec's wedding at Avoca Beach which Justin shot about a month ago, and the Destiny Album is now from Jessica & Dean's wedding in the Hunter Valley which was about two months ago. We'll also be replacing our Devotion Album slideshow soon so check back and have a look at it too. We hope that you like them both!!
It was so great to be able to capture three generations of the Gibbs family at Toowoon Bay and see them all enjoy each others company so much! Ron & Janine just adored their grandkids (and their kids too of course) and we felt very privileged to be able to take some photographs of them that they'll hang on their wall. Here are just a few of a great bunch that we took.... I hope that you like them!
We're very excited that Venessa & Shane have booked us for their wedding at Linton Gardens..... Terry and the gang always do a great job so it should be a really lovely day! Venessa & Shane are in the draw to win now so good luck guys.... there's only just over two weeks left to book and with just 6 couples in the draw so far everyone has a great chance to win, so if you are interested in seeing Justin about your big day make sure you give us a call and make a time to come and have a chat. We hope to be a part of your day!!!
On Sunday 21st June both Justin and myself will be at the Getting Hitched Expo at Mingara from 10am until 3pm. So, if you're getting married come and have a chat with us! Last night we went to an information night and it is bound to be a great day for the bride-to-be with over 100 exhibitors to look at and talk to. :) Plus, the money that we paid to be a part of it (don't worry.. it's free entry on the day) is going to help build a playground for children with special needs thanks to the East Gosford Lioness Ladies Club. I think this is wonderful as I'm actually a trained Maths and Special Education Teacher and have a nephew with special needs so think it's wonderful that we're doing something to support and excite these kids and their families!! So, don't want to ramble on too much, but we hope to see you on the day!
Justin had a call from Michael, who is getting married later this year, about a week ago asking if he could help him learn how to use his SLR camera so that he is able to use it well for his honeymoon. Michael had been to a three-hour workshop but came away still unsure of how to use his camera so gave us a call. Yesterday he dropped by so that Justin could give him a hand. Justin went through all of the processes of shooting manually and changing the aperture, shutter speed and ISO accordingly. They ventured outside to practice and got some shots of different flowers etc to let Michael practice. I did take a few shots of it all happening so that I could post it on the BLOG, but somehow Justin "accidentally" showed Michael how to format the memory card and lost the shots I took. Hmmm.... not sure if it was or wasn't on purpose although Justin does claim his innocence (although didn't want me to take any shots of it in the first place so you be the judge). I hope that it helped you out Michael!
Corinne & Darren came to speak with Justin today about their wedding in the Hunter Valley this November... we're very excited that they have chosen to use us for their big day!! And, they're now also in the draw to win our promotion. Good luck guys and we'll see you again in a few weeks for your pre-wedding shoot.
Last night we met with Chonteal and Adrian about their wedding in October next year. We're very excited about their day and thrilled that they have booked with us and entrusted Justin to capture every moment of their special day. Thanks guys!!
Meet little Amelia Joy... she's just adorable isn't she! We had the pleasure of photographing her for her parents (and doting grandparents) a few days ago and Justin captured some great shots. I mean.... look at those eyes! Milly just stared right into the camera lens at times - I think she's a natural!! If you had just had a baby and are thinking about getting some photos done, the great thing about us is that we come to you! That means you don't have to leave the comfort of your own home and that your newborn is still in their familiar settings. We use natural light and just bring a few different backdrops that we can drape over your furniture to capture shots that will make you make you smile for a lifetime. Thanks Milly for letting us take these photographs.. we had a ball!!
Joe & Amy came to us for a few photographs of themselves and the other day we headed to Terrigal to do the shoot for them. The weather has been a bit crazy at the moment so it was a quick shoot but we got some great shots of them both. Here are three that I just love... hope you like them too!
Since the Magenta Shores Bridal Fair we have had three couples come to speak with us about their wedding day and all three have booked with us... :) Tracey and Nick are getting married in February and are now in with a chance to win $1200 worth of goods. So at present each couple has a 33% chance of winning it!! We have four more couples that are coming to speak with us about their plans over the next few days so we'll keep you posted... hopefully they love our work and book with Justin for their wedding day also!
A quick thanks to everyone who dropped by our stand on Sunday and talked with Justin. We hope that you got an idea of what we could do on your wedding day and it made you excited about your big day all over again!! We'd love to be a part of your wedding so if you're thinking about having Justin photograph your big day give us a call to arrange a time to come in and speak with him more. I've posted a little action shot of Justin at the bridal fair from when I popped in to drop off some lunch for him. Thought I'd share it with everyone. Hope to see you soon! :)
