Ross & Laura's e-shoot

We have been really busy lately so haven't updated the BLOG for a little while. We're in the full swing of "wedding season" at the moment and to boot, we are moving. So, if it does take me a little while to get a BLOG posted my apologies. Here are a few shots from Ross & Laura's e-shoot which Justin photographed about a week ago. They're such lovely poeple, full of smiles, and great in front of the camera so that makes Justin's job easy! We hope that you like the photos and over the next few days I will post some of the other things that we have been up to lately. :)

Anne Marie & Gabriele were married on the 19th September

On Saturday Justin & I both went to photograph Anne Marie & Gabby's big day and, what a beautiful day it was! The weather was perfect... the bride looked absolutely STUNNING... and the groom scrubbed up pretty well himself (not to mention that he doted on his new wife which is always nice to see too). A special mention goes to the bridal party who were just so friendly and great to work with. And I thought that it was a very special touch that the bridal party were all family with Gabby using Anne Marie's brothers (and brother in law) and Anne Marie using Gabby's sisters. Plus who could forget the two gorgeous flower girls and handsome page boy Mitchell who were the niece's and nephew. It was just really nice to see! That evening at the reception at Magenta Shores Justin & I organised a slideshow for the lucky guests to see, and after the slideshow had ended it was great to see that the bride had tears in her eyes. We're so glad that you loved them Anne Marie and we will call you and your new hubby as soon as your photographs are ready which will be very soon. To all the friends, family & guests at the wedding we hope that you had an awesome time and that you love the newly weds photographs.

Hannah & Josh were married on Friday 18th September...

On Friday Justin was lucky enough to photograph Hannah & Joshua's wedding at Linton Gardens. These guys are actually from my home town of Coonabarabran and know my brother so I was thrilled when he recommended us for their big day, and even more thrilled when they booked us! The day was just gorgeous and Hannah looked beautiful in her wedding dress and veil. They had a very unique helper to walk them down the aisle and he just got doted on by everyone... very cute indeed! Who can resist a dressed up doggie hey?? After the ceremony as they exchanged vows butterflies were released and stayed as company for the remainder of the day. It was such a lovely touch to add to their day. It was hard to decide on the photographs to upload to the BLOG as we had so many great ones so I hope that you like the ones I have chosen. If you are a guest their photographs will be online in the next few weeks - we hope you enjoy!

Little Hannah....

On Thursday Justin headed to Terrigal beach to capture some photographs of little Hannah for her mum & dad. The weather was perfect and, even though Hannah was a little scared of him at first, with mum & dad's help Justin took some great shots of Hannah which will remind her mum & dad of this age forever. They recevied the portrait shoot as a gift... what a lovely present to give to someone!! If you are also thinking about something special for someone and think this may be something that you would like to give feel free to give us a call and we can arrange it for you. We've been very busy over the weekend so just thought I'd let you know so that you can check back in a day or two to see what's been happening and some of the great photographs that we have captured. On Thursday Justin took some portraits of Hannah for her parents at the beach at Terrigal... then on Friday Hannah & Josh were married at Linton Gardens... and then on Saturday Anne Marie and Gabby were married and we were a part of their gorgeous day also. So, we've been very busy and have some amazing photographs to upload for you to see so be sure to check back soon!! :)

Angela & Damian are married!!!

On Friday we travelled to Agnes Waters (or the Town of 1770) which is 3 hours away from Hervey Bay in Queensland to photograph Ang & Damian's (hereafter known as "Tigg") wedding. Saturday was spent scouting some different locations and then Sunday arrived and it was an absolutely glorious day for their wedding!! Everyone was so relaxed and had a fantastic time. The ceremony was a little different as it was on a sandbar in the middle of the ocean and we had to travel to it on a lark (this is a truck type of thing that turns into a boat and then back in to a truck so that it can go between land and water). Very different and very cool! Ang & Tigg were great on the day and we captured some great photographs for them to treasure forever. Here are just a few of them. A Gorgeous Hungerford Hill Wedding - 6th September 2009

On Friday we had the pleasure of photographing Quenton & Samantha's wedding at Hungerford Hill in the Hunter Valley. Quenton and Samantha currently live in New Zealand (Sam grew up in Australia) so, up until two days before the wedding, we hadn't actually met them in person and had only "talked" about their wedding and made plans for it over the Internet. It was so nice to meet them just before their wedding and everything went perfectly on the day... they were so relaxed and easy to work with and a whole lot of fun to be around too! Luckily they knew our style of photography from our website so were willing to do anything that we asked... at one stage we had Sam standing between the curtains in her room in the morning when she was getting ready but she completely put her trust in us and we captured some amazing photographs on the day! The weather was just brilliant and as we were heading back towards their reception a few sprinkles appeared but no rain actually started to come down until we were tucked up inside the amazing Muse Restaurant at Hungerford Hill so we couldn't have asked for anything better! Once their reception began I started to organise a slideshow of some of the photographs that both Justin & I had taken on the day so that we could do a presentation of this just before the speeches. It's so lovely to be able to share this with the bridal couple and their friends and family, and especially good on this occasion as many of the guests had travelled from Interstate and New Zealand also. All in all it was such a lovely day and we had a fantastic day sharing Quenton & Sam's wedding day with them. Here are just a few photographs from the day for you to see. Next week we're headed to Queensland to shoot a wedding so be sure to check back and see some of the photographs that we capture there. Oh.... I almost forgot... Sam had some terrific news on the day (well I'm sure her friends & family knew already but it was a surprise for us)... Congratulations to you both and enjoy the lead up to parenthood. It's a truly amazing experience and we are sure that you will make absolutely amazing parents!!!

Emma & Ben's e-shoot

On Sunday Justin headed to Toowoon Bay to meet up with Emma & Ben and take a few snaps of them before their big day in October. It was a beautiful day and both Ben & Emma were naturals in front of the camera. Here are just three photographs from the shoot... we hope that you like them! :)
