Emma & Ben are married.... Saturday 24th October

Last Saturday Emma & Ben exchanged their vows at the gorgeous South Kincumber Catholic Church. Everything was perfect on the day and Emma was truly a stunning bride! Ben & Emma were great in front of the camera and Justin captured some beautiful shots of every moment of their big day. The wind even worked it's magic and some fantastic shots were born with the veil blowing in the wind.... just gorgeous! They held their reception at the Terrigal Crowne Plaza and even dazzled everyone with a choreographed dance which was just great. Thanks everyone for helping Justin to have such a lovely day - the bride, groom, bridal party, parents and family & friends were all just so terrific and willing to do whatever he suggested to be able to capture amazing wedding photographs for Ben & Emma. I know they're a few days late but we hope that you like this sneak peak of Emma & Ben's big day. :)

Busy Busy Busy......

Hi everyone! Just a quick BLOG post to let you know that we are still here... just haven't been able to post everything yet. We've been doing lots of shoots and seeing lots of clients for new weddings as we were closed for a little while while we were renovating the studio... I will be posting some photographs from Emma & Ben's wedding last Saturday very soon so if you are waiting for them to come on check back soon and they will be up! But I still have to post two pre-wedding shoots, a portrait shoot, a commercial shoot and, after this weekend, three more weddings. But, the light is in sight as the studio is pretty much complete so we will be a bit more organised with our BLOG posts really soon. Hope you like what you see when it goes up! And sorry again for the wait! :)

An update on our studio...

Things are progressing really well in the studio. We're up to painting so, fingers crossed, we will be up and running again by the end of the week. If you are waiting to view some photographs online from Kymi & Andy or Chloe & Daniel's wedding's they are on their way but wont be online until mid to late this week. Sorry for the inconvenience of this but they are looking fantastic and will be worth the wait! So check back then and we will also do a post when they are online. Well, back to work.... :)

Polly & Tommy's e-shoot

About a week ago Justin headed off to take some pre-wedding photographs for Polly & Tommy. They were all laughs on the day which made for some great shots and, while they were a little nervous about the shoot, we hope that their fears are now gone as they look fantastic in photos! These guys travelled from Crows Nest to do the shoot so thanks for taking the time to meet with us guys and we can't wait to take more photos of you on your big day! We hope you like the shots and the rest are in the mail. :)

The Wedding Of Sarah & Dale - Saturday the 10th October 2009

On Saturday Justin was lucky enough to share in Sarah & Dale's wedding day. We have been so lucky with the weather lately as it was a bit of an iffy day weather wise.... a little rain was coming down as Justin was photographing the girls in the morning, but then it cleared up for the rest of the day and didn't rain again until that evening. Yay for everyone as this allowed Justin to utilise the gorgeous Holy Cross Church at South Kincumber before heading off for more wedding photographs for the newly weds. Everyone was just fantastic on the day so a big thank you goes out to everyone there from us. Andy & Kymi’s Wedding on Sunday 4th October

Both Justin & I headed off on Sunday lunchtime to photograph Andy & Kymi's big day at Linton Gardens. Again, it looked a little stormy but the weather held out perfectly for their marriage vows. Just as the ceremony had ended a few drops started to come down so we headed off quickly to get some location photographs around the grounds of Linton Gardens. But thankfully, the light shower ended and held out for the rest of the shoot where we were able to capture some amazing images for the newly weds. As the shoot ended we headed back and a sprinkle of rain began again so the big fella upstairs must have been watching out for Andy & Kymi and holding off just long enough for them.  That evening at the reception we played a slideshow of some of the photographs that we had taken on the day and it was so nice to get the great feedback that we did from family & friends and the bride & groom. As soon as it ended Kymi came up to me and gave me a big hug and said she loved them... It's so great to hear this and to have a happy couple already. The guests at the wedding would have already seen a few of these images from the night, and for everyone else we hope that you love them! See you after your honeymoon guys.

The Marriage of Chloe & Daniel on Saturday 3rd October

We have been a little busy the last few days moving and working on our studio so we're sorry that these images have taken us a few extra days to get up for you to see. They're worth the wait though as Chloe and Daniel's wedding photographs look absolutely stunning! Justin had such great locations to work with.... The gorgeous Hunter Valley Gardens Chapel, the picturesque Hunter Valley Gardens, the rolling vineyards nearby and then one of our favourite spots in the Hunter Valley for the reception... Peppers Creek Barrel Room. Even though there was a little bit of rain on the day it was absolutely perfect for the newly married couple and they didn't seem to mind at all. I mean... why would you when you've just got married to the love of your life! Thanks for being so great to work with on the day guys and we will be in touch soon so that you can see more of your wedding images. Have a great honeymoon
