A little while ago Kerry, Mark and their children came to Copacabana for a short stay at the Point Break Beach House. We were thrilled when we'd heard that we'd been recommended but the Beach House as a great place to get family portraits done so organised a time to meet up at Copacabana Beach to take some shots. The weather was just perfect for photographs with the clouds giving great lighting and making for some terrific effects like in the last image which I just LOVE. The whole gang was great to work with on the day and here are just a few images from the shoot for all to see. :)
On Saturday Justin travelled to The Sebel Kirkton Park in the gorgeous Hunter Valley to photograph Corinne & Darren's big day. It was a great day and we thought that it was very special that they included so many children in their bridal party. Darren's sons got to dress up very spiffily and complemented their dad very well on the day... lucky Corinne has lots of men in her life now! :) The weather was just glorious and a great day was had by all. Here are a few images from the day... we hope that you like them! :)
Last Saturday Dru & Ryan got married... yay! It was a glorious day and they had lots of wonderful family & friends there to help them celebrate the commitment they made to each other! Dru just glowed on the day.... you are one lucky man Ryan! Justin took the bridal party to a few different locations after the newly weds exchanged their vows to each other and got some fantastic shots throughout the day. I have posted a few of them here. I hope that you like them and, if you have the password, make sure you check back in the next few weeks to see the complete wedding.
Limei & jason travelled from Sydney about a week ago to meet with Justin for their e-shoot. I'm very excited about their wedding as it will be steeped in tradition as Limei is Chinese... I just love this as seeing different traditions always intrigues me. :) Plus, I'm going to help at the wedding so am excited about this also as I don't always go out with Justin. Here are three shots from their shoot.... hope that you like!
Nick & Simone had their e-shoot about two weeks ago now and came to pick their photos up about a week ago. What a photogenic couple these guys are! When they met with Justin to see their photos and re-confirm some details of their day Nick got sent out for a little bit so that Simone could describe her dress to Justin. Wow!!!! All I can say is be sure to check out their wedding photos when they are on the BLOG as Simone's dress sounds fantastic! Can't say more as Nick might read this and don't want to give too much away..... :)
Here's some shots from Asta & Ben's pre-wedding shoot about two weeks ago. These guys live in Perth so while they were down organising things for their wedding they had a chance to meet up with Justin and show him some of the wedding locations that they had come up with. How great is that!!! They showed us some terrific places in the Wyong area that we didn't know about so they're making our job very easy for us. Thanks guys!!
Last Saturday Justin was a part of Ang & Waz's big day at Terrigal. These guys are just the best! I've even run in to Ang at her work and, without knowing who I was, she gave our little boy a few jelly beans. Well, that just made his day and shows you the kind of person she is... just so darn nice! :) Justin had a fantastic time and he came home all smiles with the day that he had had and the shots that he had taken. Ang made his job easy though as she looked stunning and they had both chosen a great bridal party to be a part of their day! The flower girl and page boy were just the cutest and they even had their own little mini shoot by themselves so that their parents could get a few shots of them together (as they are brother and sister). Justin was also stoked as Waz asked if they could get a shot with his car when they were outside doing some evening shots during the reception. If anyone knows Justin they know that he loves his car and any sort of attention of it is always appreciated. :) I've had to post a shot of it here to show it off for him. ;) Well, thanks again Ang & Waz for being so great on the day and we hope that everyone that looks at these photos loves them!!
A few months ago now Greg & Steph came to speak with Justin about photographing their big day. Greg's name seemed quite familiar to me so, when they called back to say that they would love Justin to photograph their big day, I took a chance and asked him where he went to school as his name seemed familiar. You may not know this but I am also a Maths teacher (as well as office administrator and general boss of Justin... hee hee) and I teach at Green Point Christian College. Low and behold Greg had gone to the school and while I didn't actually teach him I must have seen him around the school grounds. So, it was fantastic to be able to capture their big day for them... hopefully we'll see more people from my school in the years to come! Well, back to their wedding though after that little bit of trivia. One word sums it up... breathtaking! They exchanged their wedding vows in the Hunter Valley Chapel and then went for photographs in the Hunter Valley Gardens & nearby vineyards.... what better place to be married to the one you love in such picturesque surroundings. Justin had a brilliant day and Steph looked like a gorgeous model. You're one lucky man Greg!!! We hope that you both enjoy your honeymoon and that everyone looking at the nine photos from their day that I have uploaded love them. :)
On Saturday Justin headed off to Copacabana to photograph Greer getting ready for her big day. Greer looked just lovely and she had lots of bridesmaids to pamper her all day long... these made for some terrific shots! After a little hiccup with the rings at the church Julian was all ready to marry his bride and they exchanged vows at South Kincumber... such a gorgeous church!! It was a really great day and a privilege to be a part of it. Thanks to everyone there and we hope that you like this little sneak peak of Greer and Julian's wedding day.
On Friday both Justin & I traveled to Bondi in Sydney to photograph the wedding of Kelly & Beau. It was such a terrific day and we got to help celebrate this momentous occasion in Kelly & Beau's life and capture it forever for them too. Thank you Kelly & Beau for letting us do this, and thank you to every couple that does book with us for their special day as this is what both Justin & I absolutely love doing and we are so thankful to you all for trusting your most precious day's memories with us. The other great thing about weddings is the friends & family that we get to meet and spend the day with. Man... you couldn't have got a better crowd than the gang at this wedding. It was a blending of two families from across the globe as Kelly is from England and Beau's family currently live in Perth & Shanghai. So there were people from everywhere (I can't forget the Bondi crew either) all coming together to celebrate the union of Kelly & Beau. The day was great! We had an absolute blast and got some amazing photographs! Plus to top it off, when I turned on the computer on Monday I had an email from the newly weds thanking us for everything we did on the day. A very special touch. Well, thanks to everyone there on the day and we absolutely can't wait to show you your photos guys as they are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! We'll see you when you get back from Hawaii.... have fun!
About two weeks ago we took some family photographs for a 70th birthday present. It was a big extended family and we got some great shots with Justin even wading into the water for a few so that he could get just the right angle. There were so many great shots that it was hard to pick just a few for the BLOG so we hope that you like the ones we've chosen. :)
