On Monday Justin and I headed off early in the morning to be a part of Limei & Jason's wedding day. The morning preparations included a Chinese ceremony so Jason and his groomsmen had their work cut out for them even to get into the house at their door ceremony. They had to endure weird concoctions of alcoholic drinks, some waxing (not for the faint hearted) and Jason even had to serenade us all with a lovely song.... Luckily they didn't have to use the chainsaw that they had bought to get in the door as they must have passed and were let in for the tea ceremony and morning tea. After this we all headed in to the Royal Botanic Gardens and enjoyed their wedding ceremony here. The rain even stopped so nibbles and drinks afterwards were able to be enjoyed in the gorgeous grounds of the Royal Botanic Gardens. After some bridal party photographs in the gardens Justin & I along with Limei & Jason headed into the city to get some more photographs of just the two of them. Jason's dad was an excellent car minder so this enabled us to go to a number of locations and not worry about parking as he took care of this. Thanks for all of your help with this as it enabled Justin & I to capture some amazing photographs of the newly weds... we're even thinking of using one in the upcoming AIPP awards. :) It was a great day for both Justin & I and we hope that everyone there had a great day also! Thank you for letting us be a part of your day!
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year!!! Have a great one!!!
Becky & Andrew travelled to the Coast from Muswellbrook a few days ago for a practice run for their big day. They're getting married in the gorgeous Hunter Valley and Justin captured some great shots for them both at the shoot. Can't wait till your big day arrives guys!!
Hannah & Adam are getting married next year so a few days ago Justin headed off to meet them for their pre-wedding shoot. They were great in front of the camera and Justin captured some great shots for them both. We're really looking forward to your big day guys!!
You might notice two themes in the images that Justin has captured from Asta & Ben's wedding day.... Scroll through and take a guess..... Now let's see how you did...... Well, the first is that he's tried to do a panoramic theme for the images that he has shown you on this BLOG. Even the one vertical shot of the gorgeous Asta is cropped panoramically. The second is the more important one and really says a lot about this couple. They are always smiling, laughing and having a great time! And that's exactly what the day was like for Justin. Asta, Ben, the bridal party and all of the family & friends at the wedding were just great! Everyone had a ball and we hope that we have been able to show you just how happy these two were to be "getting hitched"!! Congratulaions to you both and we hope that everyone likes this sneak peak of their wedding photos. More wedding photographs will be online in mid January so be sure to check back and have a look at more great images then!!
Yesterday both Justin & I headed off early in the morning to capture Tach & Michael's big day. And... what a great day it was! It was really a celebration of the choice that these two people have made to become man and wife with people from overseas and interstate coming to the wedding to be a part of it and give their blessing. You see, Tach was born in Tahiti and then grew up in New Zealand, which is where her parents still live, so people flew in from all over the place. It was a really great day and an absolute pleasure for us to be a part of and photograph. We even displayed a slideshow on the night where guests were able to see some of the images that we captured on the day... always a lovely suprise for the people at the wedding. :) The day was just perfect so we hope that you like these shots that we've uploaded!!
What an absolutely glorious day with such a fantastic, friendly, fun loving couple. These guys just couldn't stop laughing and having fun and neither could their bridal party & friends and family. This is just how you want a wedding to be! Wonita & Tim are both from the Webers Circus so they both definitely know how to have a great time! Plus, with Wonita being one of the star attractions she knew how to play up to the camera which made for some amazing photographs of their big day! Justin was able to capture some fantastic shots in the Hunter Valley Gardens and then at Hope Estate. This was the first reception that we have photographed at Hope Estate but we have defintely always wanted to after seeing it on "The Farmer Wants A Wife" so we were thrilled to be able to shoot Wonita & Tim's reception there and really thought that it looked spectacular!!! Here's hoping that we are able to capture someone else's big day there in the future! We hope that you like the photographs that we have uploaded here for a sneak peak of Wonita & Tim's big day!!
On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Simone and Nick's big day. I had a great day and I got some pretty cool shots along the way. The entire bridal party were great to work with... even in the heat with no air con everyone was full of smiles. After the ceremony we started with a few quick photos around St Mary's Heritage Church at Gosford. This is one of my favorite churches as it can look so good from all differant angles. Then we jumped in the cars and headed off for a few more photos. The heat started to ease with a cooler change and after a few more pics we were back to the Trojan Club at Terrigal for their reception. The room looked amazing and the whole wedding had a really great feel about it. Everyone seemed to have a great time and looking through their photos I'm sure we are going to be able to design a fantastic album for them both. Thanks to Simone, Nick and the entire bridal party for a great day and I hope you like the preview photos we have below.
