On Saturday Justin headed to the wedding of Michelle & Grant at Toowoon Bay. The day was fantastic with everyone; bride, groom, bridal party, family & friends all having a great time and inviting Justin in to this very special day! For everyone that knows Michelle there was lots of smiles and giggles and this helped to add lots of fun to the day!! There was plenty of time in the morning preparatons to capture some spectacular photographs of both Grant and Michelle. I just love the very sexy shot of Michelle on the bed that I have uploaded.... wish I had the same shot from our wedding day!! The ceremony saw the sun shining down on everyone which really showed the beauty that surrounds us here on the Coast. What a great spot to exchange your wedding vows... overlooking the gorgeous sparkling ocean. After a little bit of mingling after the ceremony it was off to a few different locations for the shoot and Justin got some GREAT shots for the newly weds! It was so hard to choose just a few so I hope that you like the ones that I have uploaded for you to see. Thanks :)
Assunta & Daniel were married on Valentine's Day..... so romantic and you could really feel the love on the day! Not only between Assunta & Daniel who are obviously very much in love, but also between the families that were united by the relationship that these two have. Both Assunta and Daniel's families seemed to be all very close so it was an emotional day as you could see the happiness from both sides that they were there to be a part of the wedding. I'm sure that Assunta & Daniel will get lots of love & support through their married life as a result of this closeness, and I bet the parents of the bride & groom can't wait for the grandkiddies to arrive!! The day was great as it seemed that Justin & the bridal party were able to dodge the rain at just about every stop. Yes, it did have a light drizzle at times, but nothing that prevented them from stepping out and capturing some amazing wedding photographs for the newly weds!! They stopped off at a few different locations on the drive out to Linton Gardens so there is lots of variety in the shots that Justin was able to get. They look terrific and it was hard to cut it down to just 15 for this BLOG... we had lots more that we wanted to put up! It was a really terrific day and we want to thank you both for trusting Justin to capture this special moment in your lives together.... It's what we love to do!
On Friday Justin headed off to Copacabana as both the boys and girls were getting ready just minutes from each other. It was quite hot in the morning preparations and, just as the girls were opening their $200 bottle of champagne on the balcony to relax, by accident it got knocked off! The poor things as I'm sure they would have all been looking forward to a nice champa's! Luckily, they had some in their champagne flutes already and they could salvage some when they picked it up as it hadn't landed too badly. While not good at the time, I'm sure they'll all look back on it and have a little giggle! On the drive out to Linton Gardens for their marriage ceremony a storm hit, but luckily it seemed to be going on all around Somersby and didn't actually get to Linton. So, the weather during Polly & Tommy's ceremony & location shoot was just perfect! Justin captured some amazing photographs of their day and even a few great ones of Polly & all the guests having a ball on the dance floor! We hope that you like these few that we've posted....... :)
On Saturday Justin photographed Jessica & Andrew's wedding day. It was such a great day and the weather was just perfect too! I was worried about him here on the Coast as it had been raining and thundering on and off, but perfect weather was in store for Jess & Andrew at Caves Beach and Rafferty's Resort. :) Jess looked absolutely stunning.... Andrew is one lucky man! They were married at Warnervale which is a new church, and it looks fantastic in photographs! A possibility for anyone getting married that way. They then headed to Caves Beach which looks magnificent in photographs! Then it was off to Rafferty's Resort for their reception. During their reception Justin suggested they head out for a few minutes on to the jetty. They did this and I'm sure they will be glad they did as the images captured are just great! Well, we hope you like these few that we have uploaded!
Last Friday was just perfect... a fantastic couple to photograph, a great bridal party, extremely friendly family & friends, plus the most lovely surrounds at Petersons Champagne House in the always gorgeous Hunter Valley. It was such a rainy day here on the Central Coast so I was often wondering how Justin was fairing in the Hunter, but he couldn't have asked for anything better! Those storm clouds almost add to photographs and make them so dramatic! He had a fantastic time at the wedding and commented on how great everyone was. Lauren & Darran were so relaxed and even willing to get their shoes a little bit dirty if it meant some lovely vineyard images.... well I'm sure that they wont be disappointed with what I have seen! There are too many great shots so we hope that you like these few images that I've posted... drop us an email to let us know!
Well, the bridal show's on the weekend were a resounding success.... We met with so many lovely couples at Linton Gardens and towards the end of the day even met a bride & her bridesmaid who had been to the HVG Bridal Show.... now that is dedication!! I hope that her fiance knows what a great woman he's got there!!! While it was a great day it was also VERY busy (as bridal shows always are) so if you did stop by our stand, or if you got our information from the bridal bags at the HVG, and have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us and ask! We're also going to upload Lauren & Darran's (Friday's wedding) BLOG photographs later today so please check back if you want to see some gorgeous images from Peterson's Champagne House in the Hunter Valley. And we will do our best to get Jessica & Andrew's (Saturday's wedding) BLOG images up also but if not today then they will definitely be up tomorrow! Don't miss that one either as the images that Justin captured on the day are sensational!!
Wow... what a busy weekend we're having! On Friday Justin was photographing in the Hunter Valley and Saturday saw him at Rafferty's Resort for another special day. So, on Sunday he'll get to rest right.... not us! We'll be at Linton Gardens from 10am-4pm on Sunday, so if you're thinking about using us or just want to check us out before making an appointment to come and speak with Justin then feel free to drop by the stand. There'll be lots of photographers there but we're confident that, once you see our work, you'll fall in love with the images that you see. So definitely drop by to say hi. We'll have a goodies bag to give you to take home and look through with a special offer in it.... We were also going to be at the Hunter Valley Gardens Bridal Expo but as we have been so busy decided to put some information in their bags and attend next year. So, if you were at the HVG and liked the work that you saw from us then please give us a call and come and tell us more about your wedding plans. Hopefully we can be a part of your special day as this is what we absolutely love doing!!
On Monday I had another family portrait booked in and this time the whole family came together to celebrate Tracey's birthday. There's no better time to organise family photos than when everyone is going to be together. With a basic brief of wanting fun but not too posey photos I was able to get a real mixture of shots. With all of my shoots I like to have a basic idea of what someone is after and then my goal is to get these shots plus a whole lot more so we gets lots of variety. As you can see from a few of these shots they were not shy at all and by the end of the shoot the last few frames were of Tracey herself being thrown in the surf!!! Luckily I got a great sequence of this which I have posted below as well. I'm sure this will be a birthday weekend they will never forget and now with some great images it will remind them of this time for many years to come.
On the weekend I got to see some familiar faces along with one new one. You see around 3 & 1/2 years ago I shot Lance and Michelle's wedding, and just 10 weeks ago they had a beautiful new arrival... Laila Michelle. Laila was beautiful and very content. I don't think I heard a single cry the entire shoot. We were able to get some great shots of the whole family, some of which I've posted below. Hope you like this little preview......
