The Wedding of Beth & David at the Crown Plaza Terrigal… Saturday 24th July 2010

Beth and David were all smiles on the day before their wedding (we know as we took some photos of them and their boys for their pre-wedding shoot) and I don't think that they stopped the whole day of their wedding. They were both simply beaming with joy which is one of the things that we love about our job... we get to be with people and share one of the most happiest days of their lives! Who wouldn't love that?!? It was such a great day and one that I am sure none of their family and friends, and especially them, will ever forget! Beth & David were married in the Sea Salt Restaurant at the Crowne Plaza Terrigal overlooking the beautiful Terrigal Beach. And, what a tremendous job the staff at Crowne Plaza did in transforming the room from ceremony to reception! After the location shoot it was a complete transformation - just stunning to walk in to the Sea Salt Restaurant and see how superb it all looked for Beth & David's reception. What a great job from the team at Crowne Plaza! I'm sure all of the guests will agree with me. Beth & David wanted a more natural approach to their wedding photos, with some more candid moments captured. Justin was more than happy to do this and captured some great moments that were happening that I'm sure will bring smiles to the newly weds faces when they see them. It was a great day and one that Justin really enjoyed being a part of! The Wedding of Clayton & Shannon… 17th July 2010

A few days ago Clayton and Shannon were married at Naomi Honey Reserve overlooking Shelly Beach. It was such a beautiful day and they could not wipe the smiles off their faces that they were actually getting hitched! I have to make a special mention of their ultra gorgeous kids who were full of smiles and so great all day long. Their little boy Damon got to help his dad get ready in the morning and he absolutely loved this! Plus he got doted on by his dad and Matt (the best man) so what kid wouldn't like it! Cassidy and Shianne got to help Shannon in her morning preparations and looked just so pretty in their bridesmaid's gowns. I also have to mention that after his mum & dad were married it was quite funny and special that Damon yelled out "That was Awesome!!" It brought a smile to Justin's lips anyway. :) The rest of the day went off without any problems and Justin captured some great shots on the beach and at Long Jetty. What a sunset at Long Jetty too! Then it was off to celebrate with their family & friends and everyone looked like they were having a great time. We certainly hope that all of Shannon & Clayton's family and friends were! the wedding of Danielle and chris... Saturday 10th July 2010

Last Saturday Justin & I both had the pleasure of being a part of Danielle & Chris' special day. :) Everyone was ultra organised (and from what I gathered in the speeches... this is one of Danielle's special traits) so the day ran perfectly and we were able to capture some fantastic shots of everyone there! Chris was a little nervous in the morning, but once he had the ring on his finger he was a pro at the photographs (as was everyone in the bridal party)... all had great smiles and were willing and able to do anything that Justin and I asked of them. Justin & I both dodged the water's edge a few times for some of the shots that we got, but in the end no one got wet and we got some great shots. We actually photographed right up until all of the light in the sky was gone and are so happy with how the day went and the images that we captured! At the reception we organised a slideshow of some of the photographs from the day and it was a hit! Lots of people came up to us afterwards telling us that they were great images... thank you to those that did! Well, I better sign off.... here are a few of the images from Danielle & Chris' wedding. Julie & Matthew's Family Portrait Shoot

Julie, Matthew and their kids first met Justin at Amanda & Jim's wedding day, so it was great to catch up with them again and be able to capture some great shots of their family. When we were arranging the shoot Julie told me that her last photo of herself and her hubby was at their wedding 13 years ago... so she really wanted a few great shots of just the two of them. She then added that she couldn't remember when the last photograph was taken of her and her whole family so a few shots of her and her boys would be great. So, we were very pleased to be able to capture some great images of their family so that they will have this time in their life to remember. Julie & Matthew's boys were just fantastic at the shoot and did anything and everything that Justin asked, so a special mention needs to go to them as they were just great boys! We hope you like these images. :)

Lauren & Jay are married… 4th July 2010

On Sunday Lauren & Jay exchanged their vows at Tuggerah Lakes Golf Course overlooking the spectacular ocean with all of their family and friends surrounding them... what a great place to be married!! In the lead up to their day we had had to cancel two pre-wedding shoots as it had been bad weather so we were hoping for great weather for the two of them at their wedding. The lead up to their day was also a bit iffy, but, we are happy to say that on their wedding day the weather behaved for everyone! In fact, it was perfect weather for photos with the clouds lingering and making for some spectacular shots at the beach and Long Jetty. Lauren & Jay actually met us in Queensland when we were photographing Ang (Justin's sister) & Tigg's wedding and, when Lauren saw our work she booked us for her day. :) Ang & Tigg were also at the wedding so this was nice for Justin as he was able to catch up with them and say hi. The newly weds are off to Italy for their honeymoon (yes, I am VERY jealous... can I come in the suit case... kidding :)). We hope that you will have an amazing time and can't wait to show you the rest of the gorgeous wedding images that were captured on your special day. We'll see you when you get back!

The Wedding of Anne-Louise & Andrew… 3rd July 2010

Last Saturday Justin travelled to Peppers Creek to be a part of Anne-Louise and Andrew's special day. It was an easy day for Justin travel wise as they both got ready on the grounds of Peppers Creek... they were married in the Chapel at Peppers Creek... they and their bridal party held a location shoot around the grounds of Peppers Creek... and their reception was held in the Barrel Room at Peppers Creek. In saying all of this, why wouldn't you too! Peppers Creek is just such a spectacular location so there is really no need to go anywhere else if you don't want to! We are always more than thrilled when someone tells us they are getting married in the Hunter Valley, and when they also say they're getting married at Peppers Creek we know that we will be able to capture some amazing shots for them to remember their special day (I think I have said the words Peppers Creek enough now :)). Anne-Louise & Andrew were such a great couple... full of giggles and smiles... Anne-Louise certainly knocked her man off his feet as, the last shot I have posted is of Andrew literally falling down and cracking up on the dance floor. The reason... well, in the second last shot he actually flicked the garter out from under Anne-Louise's dress and you can see it flying through the air with the guys lunging for it. When he turned around to see all of the commotion he couldn't help but be entertained and accidentally slipped over! We hope that you're ok!!!J Thanks guys for such a great day, and to all of the family and friends that travelled from far and wide to celebrate their wedding with them. We hope that you like the photographs that I have uploaded and we will see the newly weds when they return from their honeymoon. Have a great time!!

Well, we have had a very busy weekend so there will be lots to look at on the BLOG in the next week.... Justin had a portrait shoot on Friday -- was in the Hunter Valley for Anne-Louise & Andrew's wedding on Saturday -- and on Sunday photographed Lauren & Jay's wedding at Tuggerah Lakes. What a great weekend! So, if you want to see these photographs you'll have to check back later in the week. :) We're also involved in an open day at SeaFram, Copacabana on Sunday 25th July if you are interested in seeing this gorgeous venue! It will be decked out by some fantastic event companies and florists... you can have your makeup done and be pampered... enjoy canapes & champagne from Mr Catering... and of course get to chat with Justin and see some of his work!
