Last Saturday was a perfect day for a wedding! And, lucky for us, we had the perfect wedding to photograph!! Justin doesn't shoot many weddings at Newcastle and absolutely loves it when he does as there are so many great locations to choose from, with lots of old buildings and architecture being able to feature in the location shoot. Bree & Luke's ceremony was in the gardens at Crowne Plaza which is such a lovely spot to get married, and, right across the road from the Crowne Plaza are some great old buildings... so needless to say that Justin knew that he'd be using those buildings and doors to get some great shots of the newly weds! Bree & Luke (and Soleil and Matt, the bridesmaid and groomsmen) were happy to go wherever Justin suggested, and it's actually lucky that this was the case because there were so many weddings happening on the day and the surf was a bit fierce that the locations did have to be altered slightly from where Justin had originally planned to go. It didn't matter though as the images that he captured are just breathtaking! The whole day really did run like clockwork and Justin got Bree & Luke to the reception right on time. There are too many images for me to choose from that I just loved from Bree & Luke's wedding, and, as we can only upload about 15 images from each wedding I haven't been able to post photographs of all the moments from their special day. If you are on Facebook though, feel free to go to the VIBE Photography page and check out lots more of their fantastic wedding photographs. We hope you love them!!
The other day I caught up with Chonteal and Adrian for their "pre-wed" shoot. Like most couples they didnt know what to expect or what to do at first but with in seconds they were relaxed and having fun in front of the camera. Its not long untill their big day. Im sure you will both have an amazing day and I cant wait to be a part of it!!! Here is just a sample of the shots from the other day and I will see you both tomorrow to go through the rest and talk more about your big day!
At last weekends wedding Justin had a blast! Lee & Trevor were such an easy going couple and Trevor was especially full of mischief, that the day flew by and lots of fun was had by everyone! It was the second week in a row that Justin was at the Hunter Valley Gardens for a wedding, but he really never tires of being there. It is just sooooo gorgeous and there are endless photo opportunities in so many different areas of the grounds. Such a great chapel to be married in, and such a great location for a photo shoot! The kids in the bridal party were having a fantastic time running around and having fun. It made Justin work that little bit harder for their photographs as it was hard to get them all looking in the direction of the camera or walking (or should I say running) the right way. But, that's kids isn't it (we know... we have two!!) The end result was that he got lots of fantastic shots of the kiddies and Lee, Trevor and their entire bridal party to boot! A special mention does need to go out to Lee's son Robert, who was the go-to man before the wedding day as well as one the wedding day. He was very helpful to Justin at the wedding and was able to answer any questions we had before the big day. So thanks Robert! I'm sure that the wedding went off without a hitch because of all the hard work that you and your helpers put in to it. We hope that you like the images that I have uploaded to this BLOG. And, if you are on Facebook there are a few extra images that you can view there also. See you soon Lee & Trevor!
Last week Justin headed to Pearl Beach for an e-shoot with Charles and Caitlin. How good do these guys look! They had fantastic smiles which made Justin's job very easy, and the result was some great shtos for the two of them and a bit of practice before the big day comes. :) There are more on Facebook if you want to search for VIBE Photography and check them out. And, Caitlin & Charles, if you are reading this, give us a call tomorrow to make a time to come around (or we'll call you tomorrow if we don't hear from you). Talk soon. :)
Last Saturday Justin spent the day in the Hunter Valley at the wedding of Lara & Mark. While there was a little bit of rain on the day, everyone still had a fantastic time and celebrated their union at the Hunter Valley Gardens Chapel, and then partied at their reception at St Clements Estate. One special part of the day was the reception as it was held at Mark's parents new winery. It officially opens in November and will undoubtedly be a premier function venue in the Hunter Valley when it is finalised. Another special touch on the day was that Mark & Lara hired a helictoper from Slattery Helicopter Charter, and Simon (the pilot) took them to Fingal Bay for a private shoot with just the two of them. (Simon, if you are looking check out our Facebook page to see a special picture of you at the beach....) One of the last photographs I have posted is a shot from the helicopter approaching St Clements Estate where you can see it's surrounding grounds... it does look spectacular! The whole day was wonderful and we hope that Lara & Mark had an absolutely wonderful wedding day. Thanks for choosing VIBE to capture every minute of your day and we hope that you like these photographs as a little teaser to what is to come. Any friends, family and work colleagues that are on Facebook can check out a few extra images from their wedding day too. :)
Last Saturday Jody and Justin got married! You may remember them as we did an e-shoot for them a few months ago at Somersby Falls and posted some images on the BLOG from this shoot. Feel free to go back and have a little look at them. I think that the shoot helped to calm their nerves as they were all smiles on their wedding day and looked like they were really enjoying being in front of the camera. I loved the pink sash on Jody's dress... a nice touch which really added something unique to the dress. After they were married at South Kincumber Catholic Church it was off to Terrigal for some special photographs of them and their bridal party. This was nice and close to their reception also - The Reef Restaurant. What a view and such scrumptious food!! Well, I have uploaded some images that Justin (VIBE's Justin that is... not the groom) captured on the day to this BLOG for you to check out. If you are on Facebook we now have a page for VIBE Photography too (just two weeks old)!! And, to try and get you there, we have uploaded a few more images to this page to entice you to have a look.... We'd love you to add us to your friends!! Well, it certainly was a lovely wedding and I hope that all of Jody & Justin and their friends and family had an awesome time! Enjoy the photographs until more come online. Carla :)
