Tom & Tara’s amazing wedding @ The Forest Chapel

I first met Tom & Tara at a recent bridal show and soon after I was lucky enough to be a part of their day, and what an amazing day it was!

Tom requested not to have “getting ready” photos but can I meet him at his favourite barber while he and the boys get tidied up. We met at the very cool looking Cutt n Edge Barber Shop in Erina and it felt more like a man cave then a barber shop and actually made for a cool place to capture their morning together.

Then it was a quick trip down the road to see Tara and the girls. The whole day just ran like clock work which really made everything easy and fun. The girls all looked great and it wasn’t long before we were getting ready to head to the ceremony.

The ceremony was somewhere new for me too. After around 600 weddings over the last 15 years I sometimes feel like I have been just about everywhere but Tara and Tom had found The Forest Chapel, a beautiful little oasis right in the middle of the Coast. This seemed to be the perfect setting for there day.

With a few photos after the ceremony using the grounds it was time to jump in the cars and head to the beach.While it was part of the Australia day long weekend, we were able to still hide the huge crowds and get some great shots.

Their reception was help at Gracelands Forresters Beach. This venue has been completely made over and has a very cool & quirky style to it. With a informal and relaxed style to their reception Gracelands felt like the perfect fit.

Central Coast Engagement Photography

Daniel & Danielle’s Family Shoot – Central Coast Family Portraits

It was soooo lovely to catch up with this amazing family and capture some family photos of them all! The girls were a bundle of energy and had lots of fun on the shoot. Raffertys Resort Wedding Photography – the perfect spot for a wedding!

It was sooooooo fantastic to be a part of Alyce and Brendan’s special day at Raffertys Resort. They had the perfect weather, overlooking the lake as they exchanged vows. We then headed in to Catherine Hill Bay for some location photos and found the perfect field for some romantic shots of the newly weds. Then it was back to the reception at Raffertys Resort. There was lots of fun to be had here, and a few tear jerkers for the speeches also. Everyone enjoyed a dance to finish off the night, and all round it was a perfect wedding for two great people!

A gorgeous Magenta Shores wedding – Central Coast Wedding Photography

Jasmine and Paul tied the knot at the start of December at the always gorgeous Magenta Shores Resort. While there was a little rain on the day, this didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits… you literally couldn’t wipe the smiles of their faces. While we did have to dodge the rain for the location shoot (and umbrellas came up for a little bit during the ceremony), it made me think of some alternate photos, and I captured some lovely indoor shots at Magenta. Rain on a wedding day is good luck, and not something to worry about, so it was so great to see Jasmine and Paul embrace everything on their day and just have the best wedding day ever!

I loved being a part of Paul and Jasmine’s wedding day, and am excited to let everyone know that their wedding photos can now be viewed in their secure online gallery here. I hope that you all love them!!!

Rebecca and Ian’s Wedding – St Mary’s Church Newcastle

Beck and Ian were married on a beautiful spring day in Newcastle at St Mary’s Church on Perkins Street.

After spending the morning with Ian and then Beck as they prepared for this very special day it was off to the beautiful St Mary’s Church. Beck and Ian could hardly keep their eyes off each other during the ceremony which was awesome to see. Before long they sealed their ceremony with a kiss and it was time to head out for some more photos.

We chose a few different locations to use as our back drop for the photo shoot and with the variety available in Newcastle it really is easy to find some interesting places. With time running out we headed back to The Surfhouse at Merewether where their reception was held.

I had a great day with Beck, Ian and all of their family and friends treating me like  one of the guests. I hope you love these few images from the day. Heather and Jacob are Married! – Wandin Valley Estate Hunter Valley

Heather and Jacob tied the knot on a beautiful spring day at the always amazing Wandin Valley Estate. I couldn’t have asked for a better day with Heather and Jacob making my job super easy, perfect weather and to top it off one of my favourite Hunter Valley venues to use as a backdrop.

With a few Lord of the Rings references and other unique quirks dotted through out the day it really made the wedding have a personal touch from Jacob and Heather.

There is never any real reason to leave this venue so for our photo shoot we walked around finding different looks to work with and I can now show off some of these images.

Ange & Matt are Married – Magenta Shores

I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph Ange and Matt’s wedding at Magenta Shores just a few weeks back. It was great to see some familiar faces at their wedding too with Gareth and Jodie both playing roles as MC and Matron of Honour. I was also part of Gareth and Jodie’s wedding back in 2013.

In the lead up to Ange and Matt’s big day we caught up for a pre wedding photo shoot at the beach and after this shoot I knew it was going to be a great wedding. The boys were a lot of fun and they really made my job easy and the girls all looked beautiful. With Magenta Shores as the backdrop it was the perfect setting.

After the photo shoot it was back to the reception where the party began and it was great to see everyone up on the dance floor having a great time.

Natasha and James are Married! – Hunter Valley Gardens and the Mercure Resort

Tash and James planned an intimate wedding with friends and family at the Hunter Valley Gardens just a few short weeks ago, and Justin was lucky enough to be asked to capture their special day. While the weather did throw some curve balls at these two, you couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces and they only had eyes for each other as they exchanged their vows. We headed to a few different places around the Hunter Valley for some photos of the newly weds and captured some beautiful images for them to remember their special day. Their reception room was styled beautifully and all the guests enjoyed mingling in such a beautiful space. Among candle lights in the trees outside they had their first dance as husband and wife, which was the perfect start to their married life.

Justin had an amazing time with James and Tash and their family and friends throughout the day, and we can’t wait to show off just a snippet of the images that he captured.
