The Japanese Gardens in East Gosford was the perfect setting for Kirsten and Ray’s wedding day.
I caught up with Ray and the boys while they helped each other get ready for the big day. The boys all made my job easy as they were relaxed and having fun, Ray was not camera shy at all and it was great to share the start of the day with the boys.
After finishing up with the boys I headed over to see Kirsten and the girls and they turned up just as I did so it was perfect timing. Time was getting away from us but before long everyone was ready to go and with a few more photos done it was time to head across town the the Japanese gardens ( Edogawa Commemorative Garden ).
It has been a little while since I have been to this location myself for a wedding so it was a nice change to come back here. One of my very first weddings back in 2003 was here and I have been lucky enough to re visit this venue from time to time over the years. After the “I do’s” and Kirsten and Ray were the newest Mr and Mrs we headed around the grounds for a few photos before jumping into the Hummer to head down to the water front for a few more photos. The two locations really complimented each other and worked perfectly for our photo shoot.
Back at the reception, Ray ( a very talented performer ) put on a show just after their bridal waltz which will make part of an up and coming music video. Guests were all in on the action getting up on the dance floor which really made the night feel like one big party!
Thank you to Kirsten and Ray for sharing your day with me.
