We are now back so stay tuned for lots of updates!
After a crazy busy end of the 2014 year and our 10 year wedding anniversary coming up on the 2nd of January 2015, we decided to take a couple of weeks off to relax and recover.
It’s not often we get time off during the Summer months, but we booked in a holiday with the family and headed down to Tassie on a cruise. We were able to stop by in Melbourne before heading down to Oyster Bay for sightseeing, Hobart and Port Arthur. The kids loved it just as much as we did.
As always we made sure we took snaps of everything for us to look back on in years to come. Most of the pictures were taken just on our phone cameras and a few were on a little point and shoot we take with us. We are also getting lots of them printed and put in albums for the future too. Its always better flipping actual printed images then just digital files on a screen. Our kids are quite the little posers now, so they don’t mind being in lots of photos! Here are some from our Tasmanian cruising adventure…
After we returned we packed the car and headed away camping for a week. One holiday is amazing but two is pretty much unheard of for us, so it was really great to take to time off together and spend lots of time as a family.
Our second adventure saw us travel to Sandbar, camping near the beach and spending time either at the beach or in the lagoon. Watching the kids ride around the camp site and sitting by the fire at night was one of the highlights of the trip. A bit of beach driving was had and my limited experience driving on the sand almost made us get washed away by the Pacific Ocean but other then that is was very relaxing and lots of fun.
Now we are back on deck and have just finished processing a beautiful family shoot with Amy, Chris and Jack which we will show off soon. We are now getting ready for a big weekend of weddings this weekend.
So that is what we have been up to if you have been wondering why it’s been a little quite on our blog and Facebook etc. We hope that you like hearing about our time away and getting to know us just that little bit more.
